Abstract:

There exists nowadays a huge variety of IoT platforms, centralized or decentralized, small or large, to handle IoT devices and process the data that they produce. However the interactions between IoT platforms is generally non-existant. Therefore, the current trend for innovation in the IoT is to maximize these interactions to create a web of IoT platforms.

The research question of this thesis topic is how to secure interactions between IoT platforms, such as exchanging data or offloading computational tasks,  and evaluate the potential benefits of the solution.
