Group directories in file share /cs/group (//csfs/group on Windows systems) will be moved to new filesystem /cs/group2 during monday. This will cause a short break for each group directory while files are being synchronized, during which the directory is not available. The duration of the break depends on the amount of files which need to be synchronized (seconds for small group directories, minutes for larger ones). Symlinks will be adjusted so that the group directories can be accessed through the usual /home/group/<groupname> path before and after the break.

After the synchronization the group file share should be slightly faster (IO operations are spread more evenly to different physical disks), has a few terabytes more space and enforces group quotas.
