Business transactions and technical transactionality solutions differ in requirements. While technical transactions aim to ACID properties, business transactions require more relaxed rules. In fact, in cross-organisational environment or service ecosystem the rules for judging success of the transaction becomes subjective. The purpose of this thesis is to collect a small comparison of basic architectural and protocol solutions, and implement (and  evaluate) a prototype solution for Pilarcos environment.
