ODP (open distributed processing) is an ISO/ITU standards family providing five viewpoint languages for specifying open distributed system. The viewpoints are: enterprise, information, computational, engineering and technology viewpoint. For the design and declaration of enterprise viewpoint (including elements alike WS choreographies) an UML profile and supporting tool has been created.

The purpose of this thesis is to study the usability of the UML4ODP tool for a small, realistic case study. During the work the ODP framework becomes familiar, too.

For the contribution and evaluation step in this work, several independent choises can be made: tool quality, usability of the ODP frame for educational purposes, quality of the produced (and potentially verified) models (or even, generated system).
