Create and edit News and Events

News and Events are normal pages but they can be put on different pages and they automatically form feeds.

Creating news and events is similiar to creating other pages in Drupal (see Editing Drupal pages). The content types are News and Event.

Keywords

The keyword field determines where the page will be displayed. You can choose multiple keywords.

Language

There are four possibilities:

  • Language neutral
  • Finnish
  • Swedish
  • English

The logic is as follows: on each page there will appear those news/events that are of the same language or language neutral. If you only wish to make one language version, leave the language as 'Language neutral', otherwise select a language for the page and you will get the option of translating it.

It is advised to make three language versions of each page.
