The alumni activities at the Department of Computer Science started in autumn 2008. A group of former students organised into an alumni association, and at the same time, the department started to organise alumni activities in cooperation with the association. The association's main channel for electronic information and discussions is the LinkedIn group TKT-alumni. The department has preliminary plans to organise one alumni event each year as well as electronic information about current affairs.

 

If you want to join the department's alumni activities, you can join the Helsinki University free alumni campus, where a separate group for computer science alumni has been established. The department does not keep its own register over alumni, but maintains contact with its alumni through this network and the alumni association.
